New Online Virtual Summer Camp

 

"Camp Coltoon" is a one-week crash course for those who want to be animators. It's for children ages 10-18 (though it wouldn't hurt if you were older or younger). On a different day on a week in June 2026, you'll watch a tutorial that shows how to draw the cartoon and gives examples on what you can create. These aren't a "certain way to draw" kind of lessons, they are all freestyle. On the week of the event, you will have a schedule on what I'm going to teach. But there's no kit, you have to have your own sketchbook and art supplies. There's a certain type of art supplies you have to have, a black ink pen and either crayons or markers. You have to use a sketchbook too, but it can't be too small, about the size of a piece of printer paper. Have fun when this happens!

I went to Cosmic Holler Film Fest 2025

Yesterday I went to the third annual Cosmic Holler Film Fest and I had more than a blast! I entered my film Pasquale Dickinson in it, but they didn't pick because the leader of Cosmic Holler said I would have a much better chance of being picked if it was a short film and that's what I'm going to do. My next short film is TBA. Anyway, my favorite films were Autumn Spooks , which just had old timey Halloween plush toys as the characters, and Wolf Moon Rising , which was just predator with werewolves! Cosmic Holler Film Fest was at The Cinema at Camp Landing in Cannonsburg, Kentucky. I actually met the director of Autumn Spooks, who's from Flatwoods.
