My Voice Acting Dream

Image
I dream of one day, starting a side-hustle in voice acting, since I usually do all the voice acting in my short films. I've never attended acting classes, well there was a time I was in drama camp at the Paramount Art Center in Ashland, Kentucky, but that was 4th grade. I didn't completely develop my voice acting or regular acting skills until after high school. I just have such a passion and hobby for voice acting that I think a side-hustle, not a full-fledged job, could work. The type of characters I want to play are villains. If you go on my YouTube channel, you will find tons of voice imitation shorts that I've recorded, as well as this demo.

A Short Film I Made With My Baby Cousin

Image
Last Christmas, my dad went over to his brother's house in Ohio and I brought my film equipment over there (Canon Mark III and Onn. Tripod), so I can make a video with my baby cousin J.W.. Take a look at it, it was all improvised, no script, no plan, just goofing around recording randomness.

My Very First Film Award

When I wrote the first draft for my screenplay, it was an honorable mention in a screenplay competition in Louisville, Kentucky. Here's the certificate I got and the link to the list. I haven't gotten any other awards yet, my life of filmmaking has only been since the end of the 2010s. https://www.entertheimaginarium.com/2021/06/23/imaginarium-2021-announces-all-screenplay-finalists-for-this-years-event/

The Very First Feature Film I Ever Made

Little-Mister's Magnificent School Year  (2022) is a stop-motion animated family film that I wrote, directed, edited, produced and animated. It features two scamps living in the south coast of the U.S.A. together, the boy (Little-Mister) is thoughtful and has a tender heart and loves macaroni and cheese, his twin sister (Little-Sister) has a tender heart, but also has an attitude. The animation is mainly paper cut-outs like Blue's Clues and South Park, but the title cards are toy and food stop-motion animations. The voice acting was mostly done by me, but also my mom and her co-worker. Unfortunately, the film is nowhere to be watched publicly, it's not lost, I just like to save it for when there comes times I show it as a limited release. I tried to enter it in three film festivals, but as proud of me as they were, they didn't pick it. However, in Charleston, West Virginia, there's a cinema that plays independent films and my Aunt Jennifer asked them to play it fo...

Three Animated Short Films I've Made

Image
Anybody who's new to my blog, these are the type of films I like to make, I don't always write my shorts, these were all improvised. I even did all the voice work. Making A Mess Out Of The Classroom Two crazy critters, Sproingy the Raccoon and Luna the Feline, run a muck in an empty, quiet classroom when the teacher is gone. Making A Mess Out Of This Place A bag of pretzels and a pizza box have an argument on which is better. Scketchbook Scramble Experimental short with stop-motion insanity featuring the mascot of Colton Leach Films, "Little-Mister the Stick Figure".
